What materials can the ARC Maker and ARC Maker Pro cut and engrave?
Both the ARC Maker and ARC Maker Pro can cut and engrave a variety of materials including wood, acrylic, leather, paper, cardboard, and certain types of plastics. They can also engrave materials like glass, anodized aluminum, and coated metals. However, they cannot cut metals but they can engrave the paint on metal creating an engraved effect.
What’s the difference between the ARC Maker and ARC Maker Pro?
The ARC Maker offers a 24" x 18" work area and a 50W laser tube, making it ideal for hobbyists and smaller projects. The ARC Maker Pro comes with a larger 36" x 24" work area and an 80W laser tube for cutting thicker materials and handling larger projects.
How difficult is it to set up and use the ARC Maker series?
Both machines are relatively easy to use, with our resources, support and Tutorials you won't have any issues. Compatible with LightBurn software, which is user-friendly and supports a wide range of file types including vector and image files. LightBurn offers extensive controls for cutting, engraving, and more.
Do I need any special ventilation or safety equipment?
Yes, for optimal performance and safety, proper ventilation is necessary. Purchase our ARC Air Filter to exhaust and filter outside with ease. Both models come with standard exhaust ports if you want to add your own exhaust/filter solution.
What is the warranty on the ARC Maker and ARC Maker Pro?
Both machines come with a 1-year limited warranty, covering parts and labor for any manufacturer defects. We also offer extended support through our community forums and customer service team.
How does shipping work and how long does it take to receive my machine?
Pre-orders will begin to ship August 2025. We understand waiting for pre-orders isn't fun but that is why we are providing a pre-order discount, $500 off the MSRP. We ship across North America, and shipping fees will be calculated at checkout. Once shipped, delivery typically takes 5-7 business days depending on your location.
What is the lifespan of the laser tubes?
The 50W and 80W YongLi CO2 laser tubes have an average lifespan of 8,000 to 10,000 hours (3-5 Years) with normal. Replacement tubes will be available through our website and other retailers.
